Eligibility Requirements

  • High school students with a demonstrated interest in technology, mathematics, or computer science
  • Strong academic performance and a commitment to learning complex technical concepts
  • Basic computer skills and access to a computer with reliable internet connection

Professor Hoa Tran, PhD

Dr. Hoa Tran is a distinguished AI expert and professor at New York University. With a PhD in Computational Mathematics from NYU, Dr. Tran brings over two decades of impressive experience spanning academia and industry, specializing in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Robotics, and Natural Language Processing. As the Founder and Executive Chairman of CBD Robotics, he has successfully led groundbreaking projects, including AI-driven cancer detection systems and autonomous vehicles, earning recognition at prestigious technology symposiums. Dr. Tran is also celebrated for his mentorship at Thinkful—named the world's best Data Science bootcamp by Forbes—where 100% of his mentees secured prominent industry positions.
