Biomedical Research Lab with Professor (Johns Hopkins MD)
Explore how biomedical discoveries move from research questions to real-world medicine. This intensive 6-week program is led by Dr. Tarik Walker, a Johns Hopkins-trained physician-scientist and Research Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Students study translational medicine, disease mechanisms, clinical research, biomedical data, ethics, and health innovation while developing an individual research paper and Research Symposium presentation.

Weekly on Thursdays, 4:00-5:00pm PDT
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 recommended
- Interest in biology, medicine, biomedical engineering, public health, or biomedical research
- Ability to read scientific articles, work independently, and complete a final research project
