Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you visit the Big College Data store pages or buy a guide, why we keep it, and who handles it for us.

Who we are

Big College Data is a brand of EliteX Program, Inc. In this policy, "we," "us" and "our" mean EliteX Program, Inc. You can reach us at team@elitemindsprogram.com.

What we collect

  • Checkout details. Your email address, name and the billing details Stripe asks for at checkout. Stripe collects these for us. Your card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Your order number. We create one for each purchase and link it to your email address and the guide you bought.
  • Download records. Each time you download your guide, we record the time, your IP address and your browser's user agent (the line that names your browser and device).
  • Email records. A note that we sent your purchase email, and to which address.

That is all we collect through the store. Our store pages don't use analytics, advertising tags or tracking cookies.

When you visit any website, your browser sends your IP address and basic request details to the servers that deliver the page. For our pages, that's our hosting provider, Netlify, and Google Fonts, which serves our fonts.

Why we use it

  • To deliver your guide, both on your order page and by email.
  • To personalize your copy (see below).
  • To count downloads, prevent fraud and abuse, and respond to payment disputes.
  • To answer your questions and help with your order.
  • To keep the tax and accounting records the law requires.
  • To email you about new guides and updates from Big College Data (see "Emails" below).

Your copy is personalized

Every guide we deliver has your email address and order number printed in a small footer line on every page and stored in the PDF's details (its metadata). This discourages sharing and lets us trace a copy that has been shared. Anyone you give the file to will be able to see your email address.

Emails

After you buy, we send your download link and order details by email. That email is about your order, so you'll get it even if you've unsubscribed from anything else.

We may also email you about new guides and updates. Every one of those emails will include an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to stop them at any time.

Who processes your information

We use these service providers to run the store. Each handles your information under its own privacy policy.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with these providers to run the store, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order and download records for as long as we need them to deliver your order, keep tax and accounting records, and handle payment disputes. We may keep your email address for our mailing list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you ask, we'll delete anything we're not required to keep.

Your choices

To see the information we hold about you, correct it or ask us to delete it, email team@elitemindsprogram.com from the address you bought with. We may need to keep some records, such as payment and tax records, where the law requires it.

Children

Our guides are for high school students and their parents. Purchases should be made by an adult or with a parent's permission. Our store is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us their information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
