Terms of Sale and Use
Last updated: November 4, 2026
These terms cover buying and using guides from Big College Data, such as Cracking the UC Code: Data Edition. By buying or using one of our guides, you agree to them.
Who we are
Big College Data is a brand of EliteX Program, Inc., a Delaware corporation. In these terms, "Big College Data," "we," "us" and "our" mean EliteX Program, Inc. "You" means the person who buys or uses a guide.
Our guides are written for high school students and their parents. If you are under 18, please buy with a parent's or guardian's permission. Our store is not directed at children under 13.
Buying a guide
Each guide's price is shown in US dollars on our site and at checkout. Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.
Delivery and your download link
Our guides are PDF files. Right after you pay, you can download your guide from the order page, and we also email you the link from guides@mail.elitemindsprogram.com.
The link works for 7 days from your purchase and allows a limited number of downloads. The limit is there to stop abuse. If you need the file again or your link has expired, email us with your order number and we'll help. We suggest you save a copy on your device after you download it.
Your copy is personalized
Every copy we deliver is made for its buyer. Your email address and order number are printed in a small footer line on every page of the PDF and stored in the file's details (its metadata). This lets us trace a copy that has been shared.
Your license
Buying a guide gives you a personal, non-transferable license to read it and to print its worksheets for your own use, or for your own child's use. You may not resell, share, upload, post, email or otherwise distribute the PDF or any part of it, or use it to teach a paid class, without our written permission.
The text, charts, layout and worksheets in our guides belong to us and are protected by copyright. All rights not given to you here are reserved.
No guarantee of admission
Our guides are educational information. Admission decisions are made only by colleges and universities, and they consider many things our guides cannot see. Nothing in our guides or on our site promises, predicts or guarantees admission to any school or major, or any other result.
Not professional advice
Our guides are not legal, financial, financial-aid, tax or professional counseling advice. For decisions about your application, costs or financial aid, check with the school, your school counselor or a qualified professional.
Accuracy and dates
We take our numbers from public sources. Each guide lists its sources and the date we checked them. Schools update their requirements, dates, fees and policies every year, and some figures are preliminary and may change, so always confirm details on each school's official website before you act. Admit rates and GPAs describe groups of past applicants and are not your personal odds. We make no warranty that the information is complete, current or error-free.
Independence and trademarks
Big College Data is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any college or university, including the University of California and its campuses, or by any testing organization, application service or government agency named in our guides. School names, test names and other marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. Our guides use no school logos or seals.
Quotations and examples
Short quotations from school publications are used for commentary and education, with credit to the source. Sample activity descriptions and essay excerpts in our guides are written for illustration. They are not real students' work.
Limitation of liability
You use our guides at your own risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, a guide, including admission decisions, missed deadlines or financial outcomes. If we are found liable anyway, our total liability for any claim about a guide is limited to the amount you paid for it.
All sales are final
Because our guides are digital products delivered immediately, we do not offer refunds, except where the law requires one. If your file won't download or open, we'll fix it. See our refund policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The terms in effect when you bought a guide apply to that purchase.
